I've been using it for months now and still love it, the mist does go downward so I place it in an elevated place. It works for me in one large room. The cups are like a buck and I have not even had to change to a new one. I would love a unit that holds more water and spreads vapor farther, but until I find a better unit that is heatless, this is still my fav! Please leave comments about models you believe work better so I can try them to compare. I need more quiet diffusers for my house
I have run the diffuser right above my daughters crib about 2 feet from her head every night during her cold and it has helped tremendously, I do 1 drop lav, 1 drop eucalyptus oil. Just enough humidity in the air to keep her coughing down. I do wish it had a larger water tank so I could have it running full blast for 3-4 hours! But I still love it
I agree, they are spendy. If they had a better price point, I would buy more for my home!

A diffuser, diffuses the oil in micro particles into the air. Your body absorbs it and it kills bacteria in the air. A warmer warms oil so the scent is smelled. Preference

Having a hard time believing it kills viruses in the air. If it does I'm sure they are the type that wouldn't even affect us. Plus everybody would have one with that oil to stay healthy.

Thanks for doing these reviews. They are very helpful for newbies…I have a question. I bought this diffuser and have been somewhat frustrated. I am not sure if the problem is the product or the user LOL. My dilemma is that sometimes the diffuser blows out a strong mist like the one in your video and other times, you can barely see the mist. I've played with the water levels but it doesn't always help so I am not sure what is wrong with it. Any advice? I don't want to return it because I LOVE it when it works well. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

you waxed with "really the best". So which is it that's best,

What is the name of this diffuser?
Is it possible to diffuse essential oils diluted in a carrier oil?
A seller told me that the carrier oil would clog up the diffuser, however this doesn't make sense to me because the cup in the diffuser completely separates the oil and the ultrasonic element, as you said.
